Bio-mechanical

This week I'm going to blog about Bio-mechanical tattoos! A truly unique style, bio-mechanical tattoos feature robotic parts, working gears and 3D skin illusions. Bio-mechanical combines the attributes of a human and machine, incorporating it together. These tattoos make it seem like the skin is being ripped open and you can see the human as a machine underneath. Bio-mechanical represents the tubing and hoses as the arteries and they're attached to the hydraulics and gears to make up what we think mechanical represents. These tattoos are beyond interesting to look at and I hope you enjoy the examples I provide! Thanks for reading!

  1. Hi Paige!
I've seen pictures of people with these tattoos before and I thought they were very interesting! They are a bit creepy to me-- just because I get grossed out at that kind of stuff-- but they are very creative and artistic. The tattoo in the first picture is my favorite.

  2. These tattoos look cool, but they freak me out!! I am a complete baby when it comes to needles or surgeries or injuries and this is all of that in one!! Don't get me wrong the creativeness is awesome!! But I can only look at them for so long before I get freaked out!!

    1. Hi Jennifer! I feel as if these tattoos styles get that a lot! Thinking about getting all this work done to your skin is a lot to handle! I'm glad you liked it and thought it was creative though! Thanks for reading!

  3. WOW. These are intense. I find these tattoos pretty dang cool. I would be scared to touch one in person though.. as weird as that sounds. These remind me of insane artists who paint nude bodies.. or artists who paint characters faces for shows. Truly a very different form of art. Since this is so not my style.. I really enjoy your crazy tattoo posts, so thanks for sharing!

    1. Kristi, I completely agree about touching them! Your eyes are seeing one thing but all you'll feel is smooth skin, kinda creepy! I also agree about reminding you of the nude body paintings, its like transforming a human into something it isn't, and that is so interesting we can do that with paint, tattoos, or anything! Thanks for reading!

  4. I get why these tattoos can make some people uncomfortable, at at least they have that mechanical element to separate them from reality. It is the more anatomically correct tattoos that freak me out
